I wanted a study in blue when I painted this. As with most of my paintings I use little or no white. To create depth and lightening, I used lighter blues and greens. I kept adding layer after layer until the brilliant colors emerged and I worked the piece until the movement opened something in my heart and was guided by my inner vision. This piece is almost hypnotic and at the same time very soothing.
